Casa Serein is a residential exterior study shaped by warmth, enclosure and a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape. The architecture draws upon Mediterranean and vernacular influences through its soft rendered walls, deep-set openings and repeated arches, creating a home that feels grounded, timeless and naturally suited to its environment. A restrained palette of earthy plaster, natural stone and dark timber allows the planting to become an integral part of the architecture. Climbing roses soften the building’s geometry, while terraced gardens and low stone walls establish a gradual transition between the house and the wider landscape. The visualisation explores how light, texture and vegetation can transform a substantial residence into something intimate and restorative. Warm sunlight catches the uneven rendered surfaces, emphasising their tactile quality and giving the exterior a sense of age, permanence and quiet character.
